We’ve been waiting years, literally years for this brand to arrive in Australia. Now we’re delighted to bring you the scoop that Monte Design furniture has indeed arrived and you can buy it today!
We first told you about this beautiful brand way back in 2008 and I have to say it’s one that has stuck in my mind all these years, most especially for its children’s seats and sofas, the Cubino range (below). Now my favourite kids’ sofa is right here thanks to Mantha and You.
Seriously mod and definitely adorable without the cutesy factor, these curved beauties will suit your modern abode. They will also blend with a vintage look. It’ll be a double for me; the Cubino Loveseat ($220) sits two children side by side in comfort. Also available is the Cubino Chair for one ($179). The Cubino range comes in charcoal exterior with a choice of blue, orange, green and pink.
Also up for your selection is the Monte Design range of nursing chairs. At top is the sublimely beautiful Joya Rocker ($1499 and $1599) for which you can buy a co-ordinating Ottoman ($569) in a choice of white bonded leather and stone microfibre. Then there’s the Luca Glider ($1499) and Luca Ottoman ($569 – above) in charcoal or heather grey microfibre, as well as the Grano Recliner (below) in heather grey ($1999) and white leather ($2199).

The white rocker is beautiful, i would love this in my nursery!
We love the Cubino love seat, the blue would suit my boys pirate theme room. This chair would be multi functional for us, a cubby house, a pirate ship, a squishy jumping castle, a place to play hide and seek with our cat and anything else my crafty 2 year old can think of………….what a beautiful prize!

The white rocker is just gorgenus. I am just about to be a grandmother for the first time and can just see myself gently rocking away just like mother did with my sister and I and then her own grandchildren. That old rocker still holds pride of place in my parents bedroom. It has a history of treasured and precious memories. I would so love one of those.
The Cubino Sofa is divine! Would LOVE one for my kids room….this will make an exceptional christmas present!!!
Number 2 is on the way and I can’t wait to see both babies sitting on the Cubino together….or pushing and fighting one another on the Cubino..hey..who knows!! :-)

Is there anywhere else in aus I am able to order a joya rocker from? As mantha and you will not have the chair I would like to order until July. Baby is due in June!

We are proud to be the exclusive Monte Design stockists in Australia at Mantha&You.
We do apologise that your desired chair option is not available until July, we had our latest stock arrive a matter of weeks ago and has all ‘rocked’ out the door; We do our very best to keep everything coming in to the land of oz as quick as possible though and July is when our next shipment will be arriving.
For the Joya Rocker we are soon introducing the option to purchase the base separately for customers that would like the option to play around with the base colours (walnut and white) between rooms etc. This might be an option you could consider if you would like the chair sooner than July in the walnut option and could get a new white base in July if you still wanted it.
Food for thought, lots of beautiful options to play around with! :-)
