Babyology Exclusive – Hauck Alpha highchair arrives!

Hauck Alpha2 Babyology Exclusive – Hauck Alpha highchair arrives!

It’s seriously good-looking, stupendously great value and it has just arrived in Australia! The Hauck Alpha highchair’s price tag will stun you at just $149. Do the numbers; it’s a chair which begins as a highchair from the time your baby is six months of age, and lasts right up to 40kg, or about age ten. Just $15 a year? It’s almost too good to be true, but this is real folks.

Here are the specs:

  • Thanks to the integrated system, small children from six months as well as older ones can sit with the family at the table.
  • For older children, remove the safety bar and the seat unit and footrest can be adjusted in height and depth. This allows your child to sit at the correct height at the table.
  • Hauck makes this chair from processed wood which comes from the sustainably managed European timber industry, making a contribution to the protection of the environment.
  • Dimensions: 48cm (w) x 80cm (h) x 56cm (d)

This versatile chair will have the kids sitting properly at the table and able to reach all that they need to! Grab a Hauck Alpha highchair now from The Little Market for $149. Also available are the chair pads to cushion the tush for just $31.

The Hauck Alpha will soon be added to our handy Highchair Chooser where you can compare makes and models.

  1. These chairs are hugely popular in Europe, my sister in London has had them for her two children and raves about them! I’m going to think about getting an alpha for my two year old, he is finding his current high chair a little confining now – would be great for him to be able to actually sit at the table with us.

  3. We had these in London for years, so I am not sure it about the Stokke copy comment… Anyhoo, its less than half the price of the Stokke, I am happy there are more “green” high chair options!

  4. I have just ordered one from the Little Market. It seems much better value than the second hand plastic highchair I had for my other two children! They also have the cutest Esprit seat liners, which will definatley be my next purchase. Thanks Babyology for bringing my attention to this gorgeous highchair.

  5. Great to see another chair that brings children to the table. My only comment is that because this style of high chair lasts such a long time make sure you choose a design that you love the look of.

  6. Mothercare (in Aus) are selling a very, very similar chair for $150 too. We bought one last week with 30% off, so $105. That’s great value!

  7. I agree Gillian it is really important to choose a chair you like the look of. I have purchased two of the alphas for my 14th month old and 3 year old . I love having two matching chairs around the table(rather than mismatched highchairs we had previously), and the natural wood finish is really nice in my limewashed wood kitchen!

  8. We had sold the Hauck high chair for over 7 years and gave it up for a better product- THE BOOMER high chair. It’s Australian designed based on a Australian symbol- the boomerang. Clearly the better product.
