Yubo – playing with your food

My kids wear a school uniform, have a school backpack and have the set book list which includes things such as an unattractive but perfectly functional pencil case. The point is there is little opportunity for personalisation of their everyday school bits and pieces, which kids like to do (remember the lengths you would go to choosing patterned adhesive to cover your folder?).

When you’re in grade one, your lunchbox is your outlet. We have reviewed a number of lunchboxes previously on Babyology, however Yubo takes customised lunch containers to a whole new level. The look of a Yubo lunchbox can be changed as often as you like; change with the seasons, change to reflect the contents of the lunchbox or change with the days of the week – a new look is a snap.

Choose from the huge range of professionally designed faceplates on offer or upload your own designs. Hand over creative control to your kids and let them choose photos, favourite drawings or artwork to feature on their lunchbox.

As well as changing the look, Yubo lunchboxes have a number of nifty optional extras. I like the wafer thin custom ice brick that fits perfectly across the base of the lunchbox. You can also buy different configurations of containers to fit your Yubo allowing you to have a sandwich and fruit one day, a wrap another day or perhaps some salad and dips. This is a terrific idea given that many lunchboxes have compartments that aren’t quite right for their contents every day.

Yubo lunchboxes are dishwasher safe, BPA-free and fully recyclable. Prices start at US$21.95 for a standard lunchbox and faceplates start at US$6.95. Photo faceplates are US$12.95 for a set of two different designs. Yubo ships to Australia.

I am interested in purchasing some of your Yubo lunch boxes and was just wondering how i can do this. I couldn’t see a checkout box so wasn’t sure if i could do it online or how i could do it. If you could please advise that would be great. Many thanks and i look forward to hearing from you soon.
