We all want what’s best for our child and it seems based on recent US research, that some plastics used in the manufacture of baby bottles contains bisphenol-A which could be harmful to your child. As such, the people over at babylife have developed the wee∑go glass bottle that will not leach harmful chemicals into your baby’s milk.
A sleek design with funky silicon cover to assist with grip ensures that there is nothing old-fashioned about the look of this bottle. The sleeve cover comes in a variety of colours (pink, raspberry, orange, yellow, sky and ocean) and helps keep the bottle in both big and little hands and protects the glass — great when throwing into the nappy bag on outings.
The bottle ring and cap are also polycarbonate free and the teat itself is latex free and non toxic. While the bottle and sleeve are fine to be boiled or steamed, they recommend hand washing the nipple in warm water and detergent only.
Wee∑go was released in the US at the end of October, and as yet there are no stockists in Australia, but we will keep you posted as to their availability.

My wife and I just bought these bottles from WeegoBottles.com
They just reduced the price of the bottles to $10.99 each which is crazy!.. They ship everything for $9.99ÖI’m not sure how they make money.
Our twins smashed these bottles on the floor numerous times and they haven’t broken. They are on the heavy side, but they are SUPER SAFE ñ no plastic leaching, not easily broken so they are safe for kids.
My wife loves them because I get to get up and feed the kids at night !!Ö.yea!
AnywayÖjust thought I’d mention the great price above!!
That’s great to hear. I was worried that glass might be dangerous, but it sounds like they’re pretty tough.
Hi, I wa sjuts wondering where you bought your weego bottles form and what sterilizer your using for them. Any help would be great.
Weego has a number of stockists in Australia – http://until.com.au/catalogue/by-brand/lifefactory/weego-9oz.html
These bottles look great – I have tried so many times to switch bottles but my baby is hooked on the tommee tippy huge teat version. I stress a lot about the harmful effects of the plastic and wish I’d started with a ‘normal’ teat…
