Prizeapalooza day two – HiLo High Chair from Kiekaboo

HiLo chair Prizeapalooza day two HiLo High Chair from Kiekaboo

Day two of Prizeapalooza is full of highs and lows – of the exceptionally good variety!

Today we are giving away a HiLo High Chair from Kiekaboo, valued at $399 and the winner can even choose their favourite colour!

The HiLo High Chair provides secure seating for youngsters aged from six months to six years easily, all with the flip of a seat. Beautifully modern and funky in design, the HiLo High Chair starts out in your home as a conventional high chair but as your child grows, the seat can simply be swivelled around to become a lower seat, allowing your child to still use it at table height – talk about getting great mileage from a single product!

The HiLo chair is available in six colours, from portobello to raspberry and all yummy fruits and vegetables in between – I predict this will be the hardest part of winning this glorious prize – having to choose just one colour!

To enter leave a comment below with your full name in the Post a Comment section, telling us which colour HiLo High Chair you’d like to see at your table and why. You have seven days and entries close midnight 8 August, 2012.

  12. I’d LOVE to see the GREEN high chair at our family table for the simple reason that I love the way my 2 year old says GREEEEEEEN :) And it’s his favorite colour so when his baby brother who is 6 months old cries he runs and grabs the green crocodile that makes hid lil brother smile :) :) xxx

  16. An Asparagus chair would be real neat, to help share with bubs the right foods to eat. A Chocolate chair would come in handy, but we don’t want to be encouraging candy!

  17. Carrot is definitely our choice, my sons favourite colour is orange, so it will have to be carrot for us. It’s just so funky!! We would love one of these for baby number 2 due in nov!!!!

  20. Wow, the HiLo chairs are amazing! They look like they’re so sturdy and I love the fact that they’re not made with any nasties in the plastic chair. I have a 2 year old who would think he was pretty cool in this and twin boys on the way. I have a modern house and we’ ve just purchased some red steel chairs for the antique wooden dining table, but I think the green would go fabulously to contrast and also match our vintage green chairs on the opposite side of the room. If I were the lucky winner of a HiLo, I would purchase another for our other twin when it comes time for them both to munch away in a chair. Love it!

  21. Kristy Manton: After years of saving and trying we finally have bought our first home and our first baby is due in a few months. A red chair would match our new house! Such a clever idea with the swivel chair!

  26. You are so right…. so hard to choose! They are all gorgeous but Carrot and Raspberry would have to be my faves. Fingers crossed that one of these lovelies finds a new home at our place :)

  27. I just love the idea of the chocolate as it would let my little one really feel like a big boy as it matches our dining chairs. And being a boy who’s in the ninetieth percentile for most things, it is very hard to find strollers and furniture that is age appropriate and can hold his weight and suit his height! This chair would be great for that.

    Posted .
  28. I’ve been searching high and low for that perfect seat that Ella can use as she grows and explores the all the wonders of food.
Hours of fun will be had in the raspberry seat at the end of our table .
Please Kiekaboo give us this high chair as there is no doubt it will be the most used seat in the house!

    Posted .
  29. We would love the raspberry or blueberry both would suit our house. We’d love to win because our highchair is suddenly a little lopsided and we can’t figure out why… Starting to think our little girl might just think that you always sit leaning to the left.

    Posted .
  30. I would love the red. I think it’s the best gender neutral colour , plus my kitchen is red and cream, so it will match completely ! Couldn’t have planned it better!

  36. These are awesome, what can I say?
I’d love a green one to come my way!

See dinner time can be a mess
but with that green, you’d see it less!

I’d show the kids that its all true
that green IS really good for you

Now there is something else you see
there’d be a bonus just for me

not only can it seat bub-be
but her brother too, who’s only three!

    How amazing is this chair??
There’d be no more pulling out my hair

when dinners done and its time to play
the Kiekaboo is there to stay

Cos it can pull up to the table
for drawing fun thats safe and stable!

So thats my reason with a rhyme
its taken me a lot of time

But kiekaboo would be great for me
    with amazing flexibility!!

    Posted .
  37. These chairs looks amazing!! If I had to pick a colour I’d probably go with the chocolate… Since breastfeeding my little one, chocolate has become a rarity, so I’d love to fill my house with as much chocolate as I can so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything! :)

I love how it’s a recyclable eco product! Makes me feel so much better about using it as well. Since having my bubba, I’ve become very much environmentally conscious so I can save the planet for her to enjoy just as much as I have. Every little bit counts! ;)

  38. CHOCOLATE because chocolate is ALWAYS welcome at my table any day!

  39. My tiny tiny house needs something stylish like this! We are currently using the biggest, bulkiest, ugliest hand me down highchair. The black and white would look perfect!

    Posted .
  40. Green is the colour of my love’s highchair to match his eyes and thinly disguise the puree veg that flings and flies from it’s lofty heights.

    Posted .
  41. Definitely the carrot coloured chair is my favourite. Absolutely gorgeous design.

  42. I would love the black hilo high chair.. it’s modern, stylish, timeless and innovative. It looks ultra comfortable, it’s jam packed with safety features and would compliment my house perfectly! Im always looking for that special piece that has the “wow” factor and the hilo high chair certainly has that!! Retro with a modern twist… it’s simply divine!!

  43. Portobello, love that I could use for it both my 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son with a simple swivel

    Posted .
  44. What a funky highchair that becomes a kitchen accessory, I hate the look of all the clunky boaring black ugly spongy highchairs that are embarrassing to have sitting in the kitchen, this modern chair would compliment any kitchen/dining room for the most important new addition to our household.

    Posted .
  45. At the moment any colour would match with all the baby toys around. Please help my temporary circus of a house look slightly normal again with a beautiful black chair!

We would love a highchair in green
As it matches our colour theme.

    Posted .
  50. Lovin’ the black! Pretty sure our little dude would look like the king of the dinner table sitting in it (albeit a king with a food-smeared face)! And the black would look awesome with the stripey feature wall I just painted ;)

  51. The awesome HiLo High Chair
    Has gorgeous style and flair
The colours all sound so yum
But if I had to choose just one
My choice would be the Blueberry
For my baby boy it’d be so lovely
In a house that’s overtaken by girly pink
To have more of the colour blue I think!

Would have to be the portabello and then we could even move the little one into the family room aswell – gotta love the flexibility, functionality and the environmentally friendly design and materials.
Can’t wait to see it :)

If we were lucky enough to win, I don’t think I could go past raspberry… Delicious & an amazing colour!

    Posted .
  72. I would love to win the chocolate HiLo as I carved chocolate all throughout my three pregnancy’s and I’m sure my partner would love and appreciate a wee bit of neutral colour in regards to the kids things as everything is pink and purple. We have 3 girls with our youngest being nearly 4 months and we have a female dog as well so my poor darling is way out numbered by us girls!! He’s our hero though :-)

    Posted .
  73. The design would blend seamlessly with our decor and the splash of colour would add a sense of fun to encourage our little Remy at mealtimes!

    Posted .
  74. The yellow for sure as it is bright and represents a happy colour and the dinner table should be a happy place.

    Posted .
  75. I adore the brown. Love earthy colours and would blend with dining table nicely.
However I’d be happy with any at the point… After my high chair retired thanks to #4 we bought a cheap IKEA and even when strapped in the 11mo climbs out. Dinner time is an absolute disaster!

    Posted .
  76. Our family would love that ORANGE chair in our house and at our table. We just had our third child, fletcher, 3 months ago today. It would be great to see him enjoying this chair for years to come, instead of the one here at the house that is permanently stained and crusted with food and love from out other two kids!!! LOL. We really hope to hear from you!!

    Posted .
  77. The Raspberry colour is so colourful and bright, there will be no tantrums when its time to sit tight!

  80. Love the orange, it’s such a vibrant and fun colour :)

    Posted .
  81. Asparagus might teach my no-eating veggie carbivore dinosaur to eat his “greens” and become a herbivore like his mummy!

    Posted .
  82. I’d choose “Carrot” as my little Bugs Bunny ADORES munching on carrots and even twitches her nose in delight when eating them, just like her furry bunny pals!

    Posted .
  83. I love the Carrot HiLo Chair! What an efficient and funky addition it would be to our dining room! We are just about the start solids so this chair would be perfect for our bub – would love to win one of these! :-)

    Posted .
  84. We would really love blueberry. Aside from the fact that I love blueberries its a beautiful colour that makes a quiet statment. We would love a Kiekaboo chair as the high chair we have at the moment is a disaster to clean.

    Posted .
  85. Black and white for me – so slick…and would not become this stand out feature of the room…just perfect !

    Posted .
  86. Been eyeing the HiLo chair for a few weeks now. Bub will be starting solid food in a couple of months and would love to get my hand on one. Only problem is I don’t know which colour to choose from – love the portobello, raspberry and asparagus!

    Posted .
  87. I’d love to own Portobello,
The colour is suited to my tiny Marshmallow,
As the tanty food throwing mess,
Will camouflage with the chair – i’m so impressed!

    Posted .
  88. How could I go past Raspberry? It wouldn’t match my turquoise/taupe/white decor but who cares! What a fun colour for my little one! I love that it’s eco friendly, recyclable & designed in Canada! Fingers & toes crossed xx

    Posted .
  89. The green for sure!
My furniture is all very modern but the other highchairs on the market are all padded and daggy…… I could see this being a standout piece in our dining area in the best possible way!
I will be recommending to all my friends if I’m lucky enough to win :)

    Posted .
  90. Red – it goes faster. i mean i hope the meal goes down faster than at the moment – its like pulling teeth!

    Posted .
  91. Raspberry is such a delight! I’m so sick of boring ugly high chairs – this HiLo coloured chair would add such pizazz and be the talk of the mother’s group town! We’d paint the nursery town red!

    Posted .
  92. Minimal contemporary house
How best to seat the little mouse?
It’d be nice to add some lift-me-up colour
To our little one’s seat for supper
    Something fresh, serene and happy,
Bright and playful, green and dappy.
So whether bub is girl or boy
    Asparagus would be our choice

    Posted .
  93. Very clean and simple and PRACTICAL <3

    Posted .
  94. Oh, Portobello! Perfectly neutral for any baby and any decor… and because even though it’s the name of a mushroom, it reminds me of dessert! Delicious.

    Posted .
  95. Blueberry is such a delightful colour it’s alomost good enough to eat! My son loves blueberry muffins and cheescake so this coloured chair would be so “berry” nice to add to our otherwise dull baby furniture!

    Posted .
  96. We would love the blueberry chair for our belly babe due in November. Not only is it an exact match for mine and my partners eyes (and most likely baby’s) but reminds us of the beautiful memories of the beach that we have shared together, and the many more we will with our new bundle of joy!!

    Posted .
  97. Red Raspberry is just devine, what a lovely and functional looking chair ! I would love to have one of these in my kitchen, what a beautiful design ! Thank you babyology !

    Posted .
  100. Black – it won’t date, or stand out like a beacon in the room.

    Posted .
  101. Blueberry, it’s as bright a blue as our little mans eyes. So the perfect seat for him.

    Posted .
  102. I would love to see some red around our table, it will spice things up a bit I think.

    Posted .
  103. RED RED RED to match my awesome red leather dining chairs in my kitchen. My unknown sex bub would be the king/queen of the table!

    Posted .
  104. Wow this is the most amazing high hair I have ever seen!!! I would absolutely love to win a raspberry red one for my precious little Hope (9months) I’m sure she would feel like the queen bee sitting up there with the rest of the family. Christy Hopwood

    Posted .
  105. It’s Chocolate for us, to not only had the choccie stains, but gravy, pureed mince and other spills! My daughter loves to draw in her high chair, so a Chocolate chair may hide crayon marks better than our current white one!

    Posted .
  106. My son is a vegetable hater, so we’d love the Asparagus chair in our home, to encourage my bubba to eat leafy veggies! Green makes me think of growth, and new beginnings, so it’s the ideal colour for my developing bubba!

    Posted .
  107. Second baby on the way and I know what we’re in for. I’d choose the carrot HiLo because Lord knows carrot, pumpkin and sweet potatoes will be high and low all over my kitchen when we do mushy foods again!!

    Posted .
  108. So classic and stylish, it’s the Black and white chair for me – who needs black tie outfits and moody waiters, when you own the HiLo Black chair, you can have fine dining at home everday!

    Posted .
  109. Orange all the way for us! We already have a lime green Tripp Trapp and a red Tripp Trapp so the littlest guy deserves his own bright colour. And this is a clever chair!

    Posted .
  110. I would definitely have to go with raspberry as my favorite color. It is so fresh and vibrant and would add a great pop of color to our mealtimes! I also think it’s a great color for boys and girls and we’re hoping for another little one, and who knows what we’ll have?!! :)

    Posted .
  111. Carrot all the way! Would match absolutely nothing else in my kitchen/dining room, making it a unique feature in our house – just like my freshly squeezed daughter. She may be a few months off needing a highchair (she is still all bobble-headed as she is only a few weeks old) but I have been coveting a Kiekaboo HiLo chair for her (and our home) since I first laid eyes on one at 24 weeks pregnant. Love it.

    Posted .
  112. I know its not pictured but we’ve been looking at these for our new arrival in November- its Blueberry all the way!

    Posted .
  115. I think that red would be the perfect unisex color for our place! My little Max could one day hand down his chair to a future brother or sister! What a fabulously designed piece of furniture!

    Posted .
  116. RED… not only is it funky and my boys look gorgeous in red, red is the warmest of colours and our home is nothing but welcoming and warm!

    Posted .
  117. Who knew carrots could be so adorable?! The bright orange chair is so delicious! So bright and cheery, it would just make the challenge of eating solids much more fun!

    Posted .
  118. I love the Chocolate HiLo High Chair,
    nothing else can compare.
For my bub when he is small,
    lasting whilst he grows tall.
    Clean and sleek,
    so unique.
    With no nooks to clean,
This chair will always be pristine.
Eating tea will be a breeze,
If I had one of these.

    Posted .
  119. Love the red colour. It sure adds some colour to an everyday item.

    Posted .
  120. Raspberry would surely have our bub scrambling to sit at the table in his special throne. Red is meant to stimulate appetite too.

    Posted .
  121. I would love the red chair as it would be good for boy or girl as I don’t know what I’m having, also this is an amazing chair that I’ll def have to save up for cause I so badly would love it

  122. Asparagus! Because it would beautifully compliment my guava mo-ma glider due to arrive any day now (as is baby number two)!

    Posted .
  123. I don’t know if it’s because I’m pregnant, but that Chocolate coloured HiLo is really speaking to me! I’d pick that one! Great idea for a high chair! :-)

    Posted .
  124. My little man went crawl then climb,
the hilo might just easy my mind,

    Posted .
  128. Rasberry! I love it! This would be perfect at our dinner table and the color will add some pizazz to the room!

    Posted .
  129. Would have to go with the green chair (or maybe the red…) both would fit in with our decor wonderfully!

    Posted .
  130. After much deliberation with my 4month old little man we have decided the Rasberry would be the perfect fit in our little cottage. We love the color and the color matches his favorite thing to do at the moment, blow rasberrys at me!

    Posted .
  131. Carrot for sure! I love the bright, vibrant colour. Also, my 14-month old daughter is learning to feed herself right now so the colour would match perfectly with the carrot and sweet potato that has been flung onto our dining room walls :)

    Posted .
  132. Gosh the raspberry is gorgeous! And this would definitely help (Mummy at least) make the fussy eating much more palatable hehe

    Posted .
  133. We would love the chocolate HiLo chair for our daughter Hope who calls chocolate “cak cak”. Even after the busiest day at work and exhaustion sets in it gives a great big smile to our worn out faces! xx

  304. Wow, what a tough choice, there are so many gorgeous colours !! I would have to choose the black though because it would match in with the rest of the dining setting and bub would feel like he is sitting on a “big” chair like the rest of the family.

  305. Wow, these look amazing! I LOVE that you can use them for years to come – so versatile and great for our environment. The chocolate brown would suit our family and our furniture perfectly.

  306. Black is the best that’s for sure,
Bub can mix in with our modern decor.
He would throw food, spill drinks and make a good mess,
Us as parent’s can pretend it never happened as black hides the best.

  307. There was a girl called Nalina Ray. Her parents were so proud and wanted only the best for her.
Even a highchair, in which her Mama would only feed her natural and organic foods to keep her healthy… even the Highchair needed to be something special. Nothing less but the HI-Lo Highchair would do. Ideally in a beautiful green, that would suit wonderfully to the families mindset…live green, live peacefully, live conciously, and have some fun along the way :) warm regards, IRis

The chocolate HiLo Chair looks mighty fine.
