I don’t buy into the whole ‘disguise food so that kids don’t know what they are eating’ scene. But while I’m not putting cauliflower puree into chocolate chip cookies, it doesn’t mean I’m against food being fun.

Who can resist a Hello Kitty sushi roll?! The bright pink egg roll may not look all that appetizing but I suspect that hardcore Hello Kitty fans will think it’s a nice touch.
Given that I like to research these stories thoroughly, I hit Google for more Hello Kitty sushi – it’s staggering (and a little scary) just how much cat-shaped sushi is out there!
And for those wanting to create their own pink-egg-roll culinary delight at home, you can find Hello Kitty sushi kits, rice moulds and play sushi sets at J-List who ship to Australia.

Nice!!! I love sushi and Hello Kitty too :P
TOO cute!!! I love hello Kitty!
Love this! Funny, I was just looking at buying the kit last night!
You can get the Hello Kitty moulds on eBay too. I just recently bought some cute bear and bunny egg moulds (pretty sure they are the same thing as rice moulds – I’ve done rice in mine) – they work really well so I’m off to buy the Hello Kitty one now – who wouldn’t want Hello Kitty shaped eggs!
