A new way to boost your child

Feeding

This stylish new invention called the Kaboost is for those kids who are too short to reach the table sitting in a regular chair, but who feel a booster seat is for a baby. It stops kids wanting to kneel or stand on a chair, which is worth the money right there.

This is not an ordinary booster seat but rather a boost for the chair that will elevate your child to the height of the table. Your child can sit just like Mum, Dad or the rest of the family.

Using an adjustable spring system that snaps-on to most 4-legged chairs in seconds, the spring-loaded arms firmly grip the chair legs into place. It has a choice of two height positions (just flip it over) which are equivalent to the same heights of standard booster seats – allowing your child to grow with it!

It has non-slip rubberized feet so it won’t scratch floors and is lightweight and folds compactly making it ideal for travel. It’s recommended for children aged 20 months to 6 years old.

I just love this invention and its reasonably priced at US$39.99. It comes out in the US next week so I'll keep you posted on shipping options to Australia very soon.

A High chair to fit in with the contemporary home

Feeding

I bought a Svan highchair for my daughter last year and I'm still convinced it's one of the coolest high chair out there: it gets the most compliments, keeps my little one from climbing out of it or falling out by way of sliding through at the bottom, and most importantly, it is not made of plastic.

It comes to you shipped in a flat box (much like some other stylish Scandinavian furniture) and the result is something that looks like furniture instead of something that says "babies live here." It's also durable, cleanable and completely height-adjustable.  Best of all there are o crevices in the chair at all for food to get stuck or wedges into small corners, its sleek, stylish and very easy to clean.

More details and specifications of the Svan can be seen on the Babyology Product Chooser.

Coming in four finishes and many coloured cushions, it will fit in with any home. Available in Australia from Bebe for $479.95.
