Little Diner Set – smush the food wherever you are!
Feeding

Always in a rush to get out the door? The last thing you need to be doing is worrying about pureeing your baby’s food. If you’re like me, some days, it’s a miracle alone that you’ve cooked fresh food! Commercial baby foods just won't cut it for some kids and let's face it, homecooked food is best. Sometimes the hassle of having every step of the meal prepared before leaving the house is just too much organisation. We need this divine Little Diner Set to help us along.

It comes complete with portable mini masher, microwave-proof bowl with lid, as well as a super heat-sensing spoon which turns white when the food is too hot. The masher allows you to make the consistency you need for your age baby, from pureed to chunky, as well as doubling as a safe emergency teether or toy. Includes a handy clear plastic carry bag.

The set costs £9 and Jojo Maman Bébé will ship to Australia.

Well the name of this product pretty much gives it all away, but this range of designer dishwear by OOTS offers a lot more than just a clever title.

Designed by ceramist Amber Archer, they have a great art deco shape and a nice deep bowl.  You get four pieces in a set - a plate, bowl, cup and spoon and fork and it all comes in stylish drawstring pouch. With a choice of four colourful designs - Boy, Girl, Flying Egg and Melon,  they will certainly brighten up mealtimes and may even manage to make an uninteresting meal look appealing.

Made of melamine, they are non-breakable and dishwasher safe, and are reasonably priced at US$29.95 a set. Available online through OOTS! who will ship to Australia.

If you’re a regular babyology reader, you’ll know we are fans already of the innovative and funky designs that Boon produce – we recently featured their Flair highchairs.  Well, you can start drooling all over again because they are about to release a new line of Boon feeding products in October in the US.

Like nothing you have seen before, take a look at the food dispensing spoon, Squirt.  Not only does it look great, but an innovation in design, especially useful when you are out and about with your baby.  No more packing up food, spoon and bowl separately – it’s literally all in one with the food packed into the handle and dispensed directly onto the spoon itself.

If you also need to take a few snacks on the road, why not pair it up with the gorgeous looking Snack Ball.  Keeping mess to a minimum with is snap lock lid, it also unscrews in two halves for easy cleaning.  It would also look great with the Fluid toddler cup, which would look fantastic next to their Benders utensils... Okay, it’s getting obvious I would love to have the whole range; it’s just so beautifully designed!

Not yet available in Australia, we will keep you updated as to local stockists.

A new way to boost your child
Feeding

This stylish new invention called the Kaboost is for those kids who are too short to reach the table sitting in a regular chair, but who feel a booster seat is for a baby. It stops kids wanting to kneel or stand on a chair, which is worth the money right there.

This is not an ordinary booster seat but rather a boost for the chair that will elevate your child to the height of the table. Your child can sit just like Mum, Dad or the rest of the family.

Using an adjustable spring system that snaps-on to most 4-legged chairs in seconds, the spring-loaded arms firmly grip the chair legs into place. It has a choice of two height positions (just flip it over) which are equivalent to the same heights of standard booster seats – allowing your child to grow with it!

It has non-slip rubberized feet so it won’t scratch floors and is lightweight and folds compactly making it ideal for travel. It’s recommended for children aged 20 months to 6 years old.

I just love this invention and its reasonably priced at US$39.99. It comes out in the US next week so I'll keep you posted on shipping options to Australia very soon.
