What’s great about merino wool is that not only is it toasty warm in winter, the oh-so natural fibre is great for keeping baby cool in the hot days of summer too. You do need to take care when you wash it but I found it doesn’t need washing nearly as often as cotton – simply air your merino wool garment or blanket regularly in the sun.
