Here’s some shopping for baby you can really feel good about: for every onesie sold by Tasmanian-based Baby Teresa, they’ll donate another to a baby in need.
Baby Teresa has only recently launched, however designers Sammie Appleyard and Kirsty Dunphey have set themselves the goal of donating at least one outfit to a baby in every country of the world - whether that be for a baby in an orphanage in Vietnam, a small village in Africa or a family in need in Australia. Baby Teresa was inspired by the Mother Teresa quote “If you can’t feed a thousand people, then feed one”.
The styles in their launch range of onesies are named ‘Hieu’ and ‘Lan’, after Vietnamese orphans supported by Foundation Lotus Child. I’m won over by the concept, but the bright colours and striped patterns are brilliant.
The onesies come packaged in cute gift boxes and range from $29.95-$34.95. You’ll find Baby Teresa at Frock You.
