I love a Peter Pan collar. They’re sweet, a little frivolous and a design detail that is almost always confined to children’s clothing. Peter Pan collars are possible every day with this rather nifty idea from French label Les Enfantines.
The concept is simple: choose your favourite cashmere jumper (there are three styles available as well as a cashmere dress) and then pick the colour – there are six including red, pink, navy and neutral taupe and grey.
Next, match it with any of the interchangeable collars from the collection. There are four to choose from, available in a variety of patterns and colours – I’m heading straight for the Peter Pan collar (called the Claudine), but there is also a casual cravat, a polo collar and a Chinese-style emperor collar.
Apart from being able to change the look of your jumper in an instant, I love the fact that by choosing a unisex colour, these gorgeous jumpers can be passed from one sibling to the next.
