We have some amazing finds for kids to show you, courtesy of the freshly wrapped Playtime Paris trade show. The premise behind Playtime this year was getting dolled up and dressed to the nines, so fashion was high on our list of things to see in Paris!
Superstar is the Playtime theme this year, and some of the wares on offer in Paris would make any child feel like a very important little person indeed.
While in France, we may as well begin with a gorgeous French label, Astrid & Friends. A very clever, unisex collection which has great mix and match pieces.
How gorgeous is AlbaBaby? This Danish label is aimed at the newborn to eight-year-old set and is everything that’s awesome about the seventies. A retro vibe, bright colours and fun!
Handmade, organic accessories for children don’t come any more gorgeous than this, from Swedish brand Bellio. Think beanies and slippers with a unique twist.
The fabulous I Dig Denim has truly reinvented jeans for kids. Nordic styling, high quality and show-stopping good looks make these jeans and denim garments some of the most coveted items from Playtime Paris.
London-based Marie-Chantal is responsible for the adorable angel wing onesie at the top of this post. The label creates some of the most stunning and playful clothes for babies, right through to older children.
Nununu is an unashamedly brash fashion label for children up to the age of six. There’s nothing cutesy about this collection, it’s very left of centre, but it does make for some really unique children’s looks.
Themed children’s clothing is big on the trade show scene this year, and Rockefella fits the bill to a tea. Inspired by 1950s youth culture, this is the kind of kids’ clothing designed for head-turning fun. We have more trade shows on the horizon, so stay tuned as we unearth amazing new finds for kids.
