Pediped - smooth and supple for developing feet

Soft, supple Pediped baby shoes are just the thing to support baby's developing feet as he or she begins to walk. Claiming to be the 'next best thing to bare feet', Pedipeds have been developed for babies and toddlers in that crucial development stage of 0-2 years, from crawling stage, right up to first walkers.

It just so happens that these shoes are incredibly gorgeous as well, with 45 styles in the range. The 'Navy Caroline' and 'Annie' in potpourri would look divine on my new little niece. For my baby boy, I'm coveting the 'Braeden' style in red and 'Liam' in olive, and I can never resist black, so a pair of the 'Charlie' shoes is also on the list.

The designs will add pizazz to any outfit! Made from leather, Pedipeds aim to be the closest thing to wearing no shoes at all (recommended by podiatrists until the end of 6 weeks into the walking phase), for those times when feet do need to be covered. The shoes are also made so that they don't fall off - the velcro is strategically placed and firm, yet not tight on your little one's feet.

Pediped are about to release their 'Flex' range for ages 2 to 5+. These will be rubber soled, and as the name suggests, super flexible for active feet. There's nothing worse than hard, inflexible shoes when you're three years old and attempting to climb up a slippery slide the wrong way! Kids can cavort unhindered in the new Flex range.

You can order select styles of the 'Originals' range locally from Mint and Lilac Baby Boutique for $46 plus post. They are taking pre-orders now and will arrive in Australia soon.
