The days may be dark and dreary, but there’s no need to dress the kids in drab winter wear thanks to cold weather collections from some of our favourite labels. Click through to feast your eyes on what Little Horn is offering for winter.
Can you believe we’re already half way through the year, and in the throes of winter? Nor can I, and while winter isn’t my favourite season, I do love browsing for new winter wardrobes for my kids. Especially when Little Horn brings out a ripping new collection.
What I most love about this brand is that it begins its collection in smaller sizes for babies, and takes the theme right through to the larger children’s sizes. So you can have all of the kids covered in the latest threads. The babies’ collection is bright but subtle, with grey, pastels and flashes of turquoise and animal print.
I am in love with the winter boys’ collection – mostly because it appeals to the 80s child in me! There are hints of my own childhood throughout – references to E.T., Pacman and Star Wars. The long sleeved tees ($35) are perfect for layering and the hoodies ($60) are a must for any little gent’s wardrobe.
The girls’ collection is a little bit fairy tale, a little bit animal print and a whole lot of pastel pink. The panel dresses (above, right $50) come in a few different colour combinations are would look great teamed with stockings. I also love the addition of deer prints on many of the tops – very on trend.
