Ivy Designs clothing – handmade delights

What could be more gorgeous than a little dress with two lovebirds sitting on a branch?  More importantly, what little girl wouldn’t love it?  I know mine would. The new Autumn/Winter collection from Ivy Designs features those lovebirds along with owls, vintage-inspired big wooden buttons (love those!) and lots of detailing. The collection has a hint of seventies fashion with a very modern twist, mixing corduroys with soft cottons, flannel, handcrafted applique and ric-rac trims galore.

We were lucky enough to receive the owl pinny the other day and it’s just gorgeous. If ordered from the online store, the dresses come packaged and wrapped as shown in the photo below, to make a lovely gift.

Ivy Designs was started just last year by two sisters who share a passion for designing and creating unique children’s clothing. The results are Australian made, limited edition collections featuring vintage and new premium fabrics and embroidery. What sets Ivy Designs apart is you’ll also have a one-of-a-kind garment, which nowadays can be a rarity.

Their range this winter include pinafores, babydoll dresses, corduroy trousers, peasant tops, long sleeve tees and jackets all perfect for layering. To secure your own pini for your little one, you can buy direct from their website or go to My Messy Room. Dresses start at $64.95 and pants and skirts are $49.95 plus postage.
