As you can see, the fabrics and designs are to die for – who can resist a kid in a kimono-style hoodie with spots? Certainly not me! Oishi-m has branched out to include pants for older kids – so no nappy bum – in sizes 3, 4 and 5.
Instead, they have pockets to store all those sticks and stones and are finished with Oishi-m’s signature Tummy Toastie so the pants can be dropped in a hurry for toileting. Choose from Chubba or Skinny (below left) cuts to suit your growing kid.
Oishi-m’s amazing limited edition fabrics have been sourced from Japan and Hong Kong by designer-with-a-passion Fi McPherson. This is one who is seriously into her fabric – I thought my mum was a obsessive, but she has nothing on Fi!
And doesn’t it show in the exquisite colour selections and impeccable construction of these unique garments? We’re also digging the uber-comfy track pants and two-tone long-sleeved tees, which of course, must be teamed with those stunning hoodies.
