Red Nest launched just last week and we’re absolutely beside ourselves that the adventurous clothing label Shampoodle has finally come to Australia – we wrote about this label in July 2009. Forget restrictive winter wear which limits play, grab Shampoodle’s ingeniously-designed active playwear and they’ll be Kung Fu fighting their way through the colder months.

The arms and legs of the Organic Tracksuit ($95) are equipped with enough ribbing to make them stay the right length, but also last them through those growth spurts. The garments should see them through three sizings! I can’t tell you how useful this will be for my youngest boy who grows like a weed. The tracksuits are sized from 1-2 years up to 5-6 years in colours pink, green, black and grey.

I can’t get enough of the slim-fit velour pants ($65) and the oversized Ziggy sweater ($58) which teams perfectly with skinny jeans or leggings. Most of the garments come in a cute drawstring cotton bag with poodle print, ready for re-use at the pool or library.
