Baby Bloch shoes – for our tiny ballerinas

Being a massive fan of Bloch fashion shoes (I own five pairs!) I was thrilled to learn Bloch was dipping their feet into the children’s shoe market. Bloch is the only ballet style shoe I can wear: they don’t dig into my heel, there’s no ‘breaking in’ period, the leather molds exactly to my foot, and they weather constant wear with ease. These elements are perfectly suited to kiddies’ shoes, so I’m confident putting these shoes on my daughters’ precious growing feet as well.

Bloch has just introduced Baby Bloch – their pre-walker range – which has been designed using Bloch’s extensive knowledge of feet. Based on their ballet shoes, the leather is super-soft so it won’t restrict little toes, yet will offer great protection. Comfort and timeless style come to mind.

For a bit of background, Bloch was founded in Sydney in 1932 producing handmade ballet and pointe shoes for ballet dancers. Bloch’s reputation as a leader in technical dance shoes is known the world over, and they’ve ventured into the women’s fashion shoe scene with resounding success.

To snap up a pair of Baby Bloch ballet slippers for your little girl, head to Tiny Steps who carry a huge range. Prices start at $39.95 and if you have an older child like I do, don’t forget to check out the delectable toddler and girls range (pictured above).
