A real family affair, Scout, is a range of practical and cute clothes for bubs founded by a mum and designed by the grandma. Apparently, even Dad helps out with the website and photography. But the big selling point for us is that all the gorgeous, hand-embroidered outfits are manufactured in Peru and made with fair-trade, organic and super-soft Pima cotton.
The collection focuses on three areas: t-shirts, bodysuits and pants, which is perfect because simple clothes are often all most new parents can handle! And let's face it, babies just want comfy clothes which make exploring their new world easy.
See the collection online at Scout or buy at Dandelion Baby where bodysuits start at US$26 and they ship to Australia.
The flapper beanie in celery and white is stunning and most of their designs have a gorgeous flower on the side, many have ear flaps too, and then there are the striped ones. All hats come in various colours and sizes.
Contact them to make custom designs as well. They are very reasonably priced at US$16 and US$5 shipping.
The Cheeky Little Soles range of products just launched some new designs and matching leather bibs.
These Australian designed products have nice soft leather soles and are made from soft cotton lined leather, which is safe for those "Toe Suckers".
Their newly introduced leather bibs are practical and convenient. They are easy to keep clean and the magnetic clasp easily snaps together allowing you to store it on your fridge ready for the next messy meal.
Visit Cheeky Little Soles to purchase products and find a stockist near you. Priced at $24.95 for bibs and $31.95 for shoes.
I received some shoes this week from a funky range of pre and new walkers, See Kai Run. These were featured on Babyology in Feburary if you want to read more information.
After
trying a few pairs of big brand name shoes and having trouble even
getting them on my daughter's feet, I found a brand called See Kai Run
and they were perfect.
They come in a fun packaging box, which my daughter found more fascinating then the shoes, and the soles of the shoes have scrabble letters on the bottom, see the image above.
They are specifically made for the developing foot and feature rubber, flexible soles, they are wide with no arches, very easy to get on and off, padded around the ankles and of course come in very stylish designs.
The whole range is available through Comfy Kid in America and they ship to Australia. Most styles are approximately US$36.
