Many little girls dream of being the princess in the fairytale, but most just have to be content with a costume from a dollar store, a pair of clunky, oversized heels and a broom for a prince. But not Nellee Rossi…
At just three years of age, with a little help from her dad, Nellee has already played the parts of other incredible women of fantasy: Little Red Riding Hood, Wonder Woman and Disney’s rebellious Chinese warrior, Mulan.
So when Nellee’s clever photographer dad, Josh Rossi, recently photographed her as Beauty in scenes inspired by Disney’s new Beauty and the Beast movie, she was over the moon.
Josh is a commercial photographer whose access to a professional studio and world travel make it possible to recreate movie scenes with amazing accuracy. He photographed the sweeping mountain backgrounds and castle interiors for each of these photos on a recent trip to Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria.
Josh loves using his on-the-job expertise to bring delight to his daughter.
“Whenever something special comes up I do something fun for her,” Josh told PEOPLE magazine.
“The new Beauty and the Beast movie is coming out and she’s obsessed with Belle from the movie. She loves when the Beast comes out, when they fall in love. So I was like, ‘Okay. That could be fun.’”
Nellee absolutely adored the Ella Dynae designed costumes she wore in each photo. And you couldn’t wipe the joyous smile off her face when her father gifted her the ballroom dancing photo blown up on a canvas for Valentine’s Day.
