Mandi GunsbergerFounder & CEO
Mandi lives in Sydney, where she’s mum to three wonderful girls who adore cupcakes, fairy dresses and Harry Potter movies. Before children, she worked in marketing, public relations and event management both here in Australia and in the US. Having run Babyology for the last nine years, she can say the industry just gets more and more exciting.
Ben has a background in the film industry, having worked in computer animation for films such as The Matrix, Shrek, and Happy Feet. He has also worked as a photographer although he now spends most of his spare time photographing his three amazing daughters.
Nikki was a hard-nosed news reporter who turned all mushy on the inside after the birth of her first child. She soon realised that spending time hunting down amazing toys and hip clothes for her children was much safer (and infinitely more fun) than chasing criminals and other shady types outside court. She lives in inner Melbourne with her photographer husband and their three kids.
Leah lives in Sydney’s inner west with her husband, three kids, and a Lego collection that really deserves its own bedroom. She is an unwilling expert on Minecraft, the clandestine disposal of beloved arts and crafts, and every Spanish phrase ever uttered by Dora the Explorer. On the upside, her nine-year-old son pulls a fairly decent espresso shot.
Anita lives in country Victoria and devotes her time to two beautiful, boisterous boys, writing for Babyology, working as a television journalist and possibly the best husband in the world (usually in that order). She can decipher the handwriting of a preschooler and stop brotherly brawls single-handedly, all while masterfully sipping freshly brewed Earl Grey.
Jenna Gallina is our features writer and loves showcasing all sides of parenting. When she is not watching Disney/Pixar movies or dreaming about Jon Snow, she is drinking coffee or wine in an attempt to ignore her children's constant cries of "Muummmm". Born and raised in Canada, she now lives in Cairns with her adorable children and naughty dog.
Mum-of-three Lexi lives in a sleepy South Australian town, hours away from the hubbub of the city enduring 45 degree summers and icy cold winters. A penchant for all things beautiful and clever, when not writing you'll find Lexi behind her sewing machine or lurking on Instagram, where she (tragically) displays an equal love for both hashtags and food.
Pilar is our expert on kids' fashion, toys and big bright ideas that come out of Kickstarter. To say her career path has zigzagged is an understatement. She's been a book publisher, investment banking analyst and now a writer. When not sipping soy chai with her two cafe kids and hitting the playgrounds in Sydney's inner west, she's working on a sewing project. Or five.
Alison is a journalist and mum to an energetic, superhero-obsessed, three-year-old boy and wife to her high school sweetheart turned Sydney firefighter. When she isn't burning dinner or walking on the beach near her home on the NSW south coast, she is watching Octonauts on repeat. Going to the movies without having to share her choc top is her idea of bliss.
Katie Oliveira da SilveiraWriter
Katie has a background in media, book publishing and blogging. She loves unearthing fabulous gear for kids, devouring bestsellers – and considers no meal complete without fresh chillies. A busy mum of two, she and her Brazilian husband call Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula home, where Katie writes, unwittingly hums the Mister Maker theme song, and continues her pursuit against folding laundry.
According to her son, Kiah is an astronaut, pirate and garbage woman. In actuality, she is a chauffeur/teething ring/chef/snotty-tissue-holder to two small children who pay a pretty decent wage in love and snotty cuddles. She lives on the South Coast of NSW, loves reading and tea, and doesn’t normally drop the word snot so many times in general conversation.
