Mandi Gunsberger
Managing EditorMandi lives in Sydney, where she’s mum to two wonderful girls who adore cupcakes and fairy dresses. Before children, she worked in marketing, public relations and event management both here in Australia and in the US.
While Mandi happily mothballed her corporate suits and workplace heels for more mum-friendly wardrobe options when her first daughter was born, she refused to let motherhood sap her passion for style and design.
After fielding constant questions from friends and acquaintances – even strangers – about where she’d discovered this or that, she decided to share her knack for finding incredibly stylish things, wherever they may be hiding, with the rest of us.
Ben Gunsberger
Creative DirectorBen has a background in the film industry, having worked on the computer animation for films such as The Matrix, Shrek, and Happy Feet. He has also worked as a photographer although he now spends most of his spare time photographing his two amazing daughters.

Suzi Catchpole
Production Manager & Senior WriterWith two boys aged seven and five Suzi’s passion for design never wanes and she’s always scouting for the latest and greatest gear. She’s kept as a busy as a bee in her two roles at Babyology and loves to discover amazing labels doing great fashion for boys. Having clocked up five years at Babyology, she can say the industry gets more and more exciting, with many amazing local brands and internationals recognising Australia as a great retail destination.

Nikki Tandy
Content Editor & Senior WriterNikki was a hard-nosed news reporter who turned all mushy on the inside after the birth of her first son six years ago. After becoming a mum for the second time, she realised that spending time hunting down amazing toys and hip clothes for her children was much safer (and infinitely more fun) than chasing criminals and other shady types outside court. A newspaper journalist for fifteen years, and now a mum of three, she lives in a toy-infested old house in inner Melbourne with her photographer husband, their Xbox-obsessed son, babycino-addicted daughter, a no-nap one-year-old and the family dog.

Stefania Boniolo
DesignerStef is originally from Turin Italy and has been living in Sydney for the past 10 years.
With a degree in graphic and print design she started a successful career in advertising in Italy.
After 4 crazy years working in advertising she decided to take some time off to travel and improve her English.
In 2000 she travelled to Australia and loved living in Sydney, where she met her partner, found a great new job as a graphic and web designer.
For the past 5 years she has been finding the perfect balance between working as a freelance designer and enjoying time with her 4 year old daughter.
Katrina Whelen
WriterKatrina studied Planning & Design, then Communications, then worked in a big office building for a few years. And then she had four children and everything changed. But her love of good design (particularly the sleek lines of the Art Deco era) remained. Now she’s busy running after her four kids aged from five to nine (no twins, just a quick worker!) and enjoying working from home. More often than not, you’ll find Katrina with her nose buried in a book or trying to convince her kids that eighties pop music cannot be surpassed.

Alexis Klaebe
WriterAlexis together with her husband lives in rural South Australia with her three children aged 9, 6 and 2 keeping her on her toes. Being a stay at home mum in a small country town, her quest for cool finds for kids is made only more rigorous by the fact that the world is at her fingertips via her keyboard and access to the internet. Alexis is one mum that’s keen to break the ‘country kid’ mould and prove that kids that are from the country can be stylish too!

Leah Fitzhardinge
WriterLeah lives in Sydney’s inner west, and is mum to a 4 year old, dinosaur obsessed son, and 1 year old, shoe obsessed daughter. In her previous life, she worked as an editor for a large publishing house, and in her spare time obsessed about the general population’s growing inability to use apostrophes correctly. Since becoming a mum she has increasingly little spare time, and with another child on the way, fears she will soon have none at all! Writing for Babyology helps her feel as though she still knows what’s going on in the world of kids’ design, since it turns out that a peaceful jaunt around all the great local kidswear stores is not so peaceful when you add three small children to the mix.

Anita Butterworth
WriterAnita is a mum to one little man, and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second son. Along with her husband, she lives in regional Victoria, where she is surrounded by friends and family. After completing a degree in journalism, she worked in public relations, before heading into newspaper reporting, and eventually took up a position as a television journalist. Although absolutely in love with the cut and thrust world of TV reporting, her love for children was far greater. And with this has come a complete immersion in all things baby and toddler, fuelled by her husband’s obsession with new gadgets (which incidentally their son has inherited). Thankfully, the virtual world has allowed her to indulge her family in innovative baby gear, uninhibited by the tyranny of distance.
